On July 11th, Ukrainian authorities announced the seizure of a Cameroonian-flagged cargo vessel accused of transporting cereals from Crimea. The ship, named USKO MFU, allegedly entered Sevastopol port twice after disabling its AIS system, as reported by Ukraine’s Prosecutor General’s Office. It was intercepted on July 2nd while transiting Ukrainian waters en route to a Moldovan port, shortly after departing Sevastopol. The Azerbaijani captain faces charges of violating Ukrainian law, which prohibits entry into or exit from territories in Ukraine occupied by Russia, including Crimea.
