3 sailors of the ship Grebe Bulker abducted

On May 2nd at 00.30 UTC, the vessel Grebe Bulker, flying the flag of the Marshalls Islands, was victim of marine banditry. It was located in the Gulf of Guinea, at the anchorage of the port of Owendo in Gabon.
Three of the seventeen crew members of the vessel were abducted.
This is the third major incident reported in the area since the beginning of the year. The Monjasa Reformer and the Success 9 were both victims of piracy earlier in the year.
