Cooperation Between NCIS and the French Gendarmerie Maritime
On 27 June, the US Naval Criminal Investigative Service (NCIS) and the French Gendarmerie Maritime signed a cooperation agreement.
The Gendarmerie Maritime and the American federal agency attached to the US Navy and the US Marine Corps have officially sealed a strategic partnership aimed at strengthening their capabilities in terms of security and the fight against criminal activities.
The cooperation agreement paves the way for the sharing of specialist expertise, particularly in the fight against cyber-malware. A major step forward in the defence of French and American military maritime assets
